Dedicated to our commander and friend, Captain William Lorimer IV, who was killed by enemy fire on an airmobile operation on 10 March, 1970.

Captain Lorimer will be remembered by all of us for many different reasons. He was a man whose very personality demanded respect, but respect of the ideal type. He was a friend to each man in the company, but this friendliness did not limit his reults. CPT Lorimer could make you laugh at the drop of a hat and then issue an order which you would carry out as quickly as you laughed. He had an uncanny way with people which he exercised fully as a commander.

CPT Lorimer gave his life doing what he liked best in this company-flying! When men like this pay the supreme price for freedom, it must be important. He believed in what he was doing and was doing his job as a professional soldier the way he did everything-All the way!

These pages reflect only part of what CPT Lorimer loved. For the short time he was with us, he gave everyone something to emulate. His leadership and drive was an inspiration to us all. He is gone, but not forgotten!

NOTE:
We welcome corrections and additions. It won't be complete until we have every one identified with a then and now photo, as well as the stories about what happened to those who were wounded or are "Forever Young".
